George II Crown 1732, S-3686, ESC-117, Young Laureate Head, Roses & Plumes, Sexto edge, MS63 NGC, sharply detailed in both the portrait and royal shield, highly lustrous, and importantly struck on a well-formed flan (this type often encountered with oddly shaped flans), the surfaces exceptionally pleasing even if showing a number of tiny obverse abrasions, and richly toned in varying shades of golden gray. All in all, a delightful crown. From The Formosa Collection
