Great Britain
George III Bank of England Proof Dollar 1804, S-3768, KM-Tn1, PR66 Cameo PCGS, a jewel of a coin, fully detailed from the proof impression, its reflective surfaces scintillating, the portrait of King George lightly cameoed against the surrounding mirrored field, but Britannia and the rest of the reverse motif are highly frosted and the image seems to float upon the still crystalline waters of a pond, the color mostly silvery white on reverse but delicately iridescent on obverse. If a finer specimen exists, we have yet to see it. As a collectible, just imagine for a moment the sheer value inherent in owning such a coin as this, very rare in its state of preservation, historic as a specially made example of the emergency coinage used in Britain during the Napoleonic Wars, and so reasonably obtainable. An excellent coin in every respect.
