William IV gold Proof £2 1831, S-3828, KM718, "WW" incuse, plain edge, "PR Genuine Filed Rims - UNC Details" PCGS. An attractive Brilliant Proof with fully mirrored surfaces, the usual great strike, obvious hairlines, and some other minor handling marks. The cataloguer sees nothing to object to concerning the rims. This is the largest gold coin that was included in the Coronation proof set of this year. Pleasing enough for most collectors, and good value for a genuinely rare coin.
