Victoria Halfcrown 1846, S-3888, KM740, Young Head, rare date, MS66 PCGS, a splendid gem of a coin having especially rich golden blue iridescent toning, flashy cartwheel luster, and pristine surfaces. This early date tends to show up, at its nicest, in grades equivalent to MS62-64. This specimen is nonpareil and should draw numerous strong bids -- for finding another of comparable quality and beauty might take some time, if it could be located at all.
