Victoria Gothic Crown 1847, S-3883, KM744, plain edge, PR64 Cameo NGC, obvious but faint hairlines on the obverse field, yet this remains a coin of alluring beauty, as vivid golden blue iridescent toning reflects off the mirrored surfaces into the eye of the beholder. The queen's portrait and the center of her royal shield on the reverse are frosted. The dies were fully impressed. Not all Gothics are so well detailed. The edge is protected by a fine, knife-like raised rim. All of this makes for splendid eye-appeal. Not perfect but perfectly delightful!
