Ferdinand VI Pillar 8 Reales 1756 G-J, KM18, Cal-79, AU Details (Obv Graffiti) NGC. 152,396 minted (including all varieties of this date). A small pin scratch atop the crown on the pillar side but very well struck and some luster remaining, thus very unusual and desirable for this type. The plain date variety. In addition, this is a very rare die error, where the horizontal bar for the "A" was omitted in the FERDINAND monogram (which reads FERDIND as a result). Missing in Amat, Patterson and Haberthuer.
