Edward VII silver Pattern Rupee 1901, Pridmore-1045, Proof 65 NGC David Fore Collection, an original striking of this very rare pattern struck in the first year of the reign of Edward VII. The surfaces display lovely patina with hints of gold and magenta and are highly reflective. The dies were prepared by F. K. Wezel, chief engraver at the Calcutta mint and his initials, KW, are present on the truncation of the bust.
