Republic Venezolano 1876-A, KM-Y16, MS62 NGC, fully lustrous with well-struck design features, minor contact marks on the obverse and some toning in the right obverse field. Very rare in mint state; we have only seen a few examples over the years. A mint state coin rated as MS61 by the Goldbergs sold for $17,500 in 2008 and the Pittman piece brought $13,500 in MS61 NGC.
