Israel Bank Leumi Le-Israel B.M. Group of 4 Proofs from the 1952 Series. Like previous examples these Proofs are printed in black and white, not used for production (the production 5 Pound note was printed in brown with a yellow undertint and the production 10 Pound note was printed in gray with an orange underprint. These Proofs were probably pulled at ABNCo to test printing quality, plate pressures, and for other internal purposes. These Proofs are likely unique or nearly so and served as the plate notes for Dvir's book on pages 25 to 27.
