Israel Bank Leumi Le-Israel B.M. 1 Pound ND (1952) Pick 20cts Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. An alluring Color Trial graced with a pallet of bluish-green color. Olive and pink inks were chosen for the final design on the final issue. Star-shaped POCs are seen over the signature areas on the scarce piece printed by the American Bank note Company. Although third party grading company annotates that rust has been lightened, that does not negate the fact that this example is tied for the highest grade in the PMG Population Report of a mere four registered,one of which is included in this auction. The back of this notes present with a tiny hand written 21 which indicates the color plate number, this color was actually utilized in the printing of the previous 500 Prutah from this series. This one of the nicest examples known, and the only one at present with no SPECIMEN stamp or annotations aside from the 21 color plate number present. This rare note served as the plate illustration on page 30 in Dvir's 2022 book.
