Israel Bank Leumi Le-Israel B.M. 1 Pound ND (1952) Pick 20cts Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Although olive green and pink were the colors that were ultimately chosen for this denomination printed by ABNCo for the Bank Leumi Le-Israel B.M., this Color Trial Specimen makes for an attractive rendition in brown and blue. One of only four graded examples on the PMG Population Report, with this offering being the first time that we have offered variety in this format. A printer's annotation of "9" is seen on the back, indicating the color plate. Two star-Shaped cancelations and rust lightened are mentioned for accuracy. This Color Trial Specimen, based on current research, is believed to be one of two known and is free of any SPECIMEN stamp and additional annotations beyond the 9 color plate number. It is the only example without the SPECIMEN stamp of which we are aware at present. It serves as the plate note on page 32 of the 2022 Dvir publication.
