Israel Bank of Israel 10 Lirot 1955 / 5715 Pick 27as Approval Specimen PMG Very Fine 30. A scenic view of The Jezreel Valley and the Kfar Yehezkel settlement is portrayed on the face of this Specimen from the first series of notes issued by the Bank of Israel. To the top right a handwritten annotation reads "Duplicate Approved Proof 20.1.1955" that is accompanied by an approval signature. This will be the first time that we have offered this variety in this format. Pinholes are mentioned for accuracy, but do not detract from the allure of this scarce example. Believed to be unique with the additional handwritten annotation and approval signature, this note appears on page 95 in the 2022 Dvir catalog.
