Israel Bank of Israel 50 Lirot 1955 / 5715 Pick 28apd Approval Specimen / Printer's Design PMG Choice About Unc 58. An amazing array of contrasting colors were utilized upon creating this scarce Printer's deign. A lovely image of the Jerusalem Road through the Judean hills enhances the front, while guilloche designs hallmark the back. This Pinter's design features the date an the bottom center, it should be mentioned that during the final process the date was placed on the left. Also, it should be mentioned that this design has the rare Cancelled perforation rather than the common red Specimen overprints and TDLR oval stamps. PMG mentions printer's annotations which are quite commonly present during pre-production. Believed to be unique based on recent research, this note appears on page 96 in the 2022 Dvir work on the subject.
