Israel Bank of Israel 10 Lirot 1958 / 5718 Pick 32r Remainder PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ. A 10 Lirot security proof from the second issue of the Bank of Israel that formed part of the "ancient vs. modern" themed series. On the face, science is depicted, and on the back is a vignette of the Book of Isaiah from the Dead Sea Scrolls. A handwritten annotation of 16/11/66 on the front lower left, a security mark on the back right margin and the included selvage reveal this example is more than a standard remainder. Raphael Dvir describes this note as a "Complete Security Proof" with the location of a secret security mark identified in the right margin on the back with a small black circle. This note served as the plate illustration on page 162 of the 2022 Dvir book.
