Israel Bank of Israel 5 Lirot 1958 / 5718 Pick 31s Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. Beautiful design elements remain strong on this rare Specimen featuring industrial images on the front. A Hebrew seal with a lion, found at Megiddo, graces the back. This example has all zero serial numbers and is perorated "Cancelled" at center. This will be the first time that we have offered this example without the usual "Specimen" stamps. A wonderful opportunity to acquire such a unique piece. We believe that only two 5 Lirot Specimens that were roulette cancelled in this manner presently exist based on recent research conducted by Raphael Dvir. This example serves as the plate illustration on page 164 in his book.
