Israel Bank of Israel 10 Lirot 1958 / 5718 Pick 32bs Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. A high grade variety with the perforated "Specimen of No Value" present, which identify this as a type of experimental/trial Specimen as the normal Specimen would have the diagonal overprint and De La Rue oval markings. This type of roulette cancel was eventually abandoned in favor of other more traditional markings such as the De La Rue oval Specimen seals or simple SPECIMEN stamps. At present we are aware of only two examples of this "Specimen of No Value" roulette cancel, both on 10 Lirot notes. This note served as the plate illustration on page 166 of the 2022 Dvir catalog.
