Jordan Currency Board 50 Dinars 1949 Pick 5s Specimen PMG Very Fine 20 Net. This is the only example known today that originated from the printer's archives and carrying annotation date 25-7-48, probably indicates the date the design was approved. Thus reviling that dissuasions concerning the new Jordanian banknotes, began as early as 1948, with the termination of the British Mandate over Palestine and Trans-Jordan.
