Lebanon Banque de Syrie et du Liban 1 Livre 1939 Pick 15 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. An iconic French-printed colonial note, seldom seen in anything near this elite grade. At the time of cataloging, this example is tied with four others, and is bettered by a sole note in the PMG Population Report. The delicate paper and pastel colors are simply beautiful and due to the fresh originality and Uncirculated paper, this note has simple excellent visual appeal. We have not offered this banknote in Gem Uncirculated grade in the past. This is the first note in an improbable consecutive pair offered today.
