Mexico Banco de Mexico 1000 Pesos ND (1931-34) Pick 27s M4621s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. The Banco de Mexico opened its doors in 1925 and began issuing banknotes nationwide, replacing the regional and state banks. This 100 Pesos was the highest denomination of the first series and is rare in every format. This handsome Specimen is as fresh as the day it was printed. Hole punched cancellations and red overprints are mentioned for accuracy. A key note from the Bank of Mexico and a desirable type note. To date, PMG has not graded any issued banknotes of this denomination, making Specimen and Proofs the best method to acquire this banknote. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/mexico-banco-de-mexico-1000-pesos-nd-1931-34-pick-27s-m4621s-specimen-pmg-gem-uncirculated-65-epq/a/4039-25395.s?type=DA-DMC-CoinArchivesCurrency-WorldPaperMoney-4039-10202022 HID08706262019 © 2022 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
