Mexico Banco Mercantil de Monterrey 500 Pesos ND (1907) Pick S357As M430s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Notes from the Mercantil Bank of Monterrey are quite handsome and popular. The face side features General Mariano Escobedo, and the back shows the city of Monterrey. This 500 Pesos is the highest denomination of the series and it is most likely unissued or unknown in issued format. There are two variations of this denomination, with different redemption clauses and a different building on the front. Hole punched cancellations and rare overprints are mentioned for accuracy.
