Saudi Arabia Monetary Agency 10 Riyals ND (1954) / AH1373 Pick 4s Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. During the early years of the Monetary Agency, the printing of traditional banknotes was prohibited. In an effort to increase currency, these Haj Pilgrim Receipts were printed and issued as a form of traveler's checks during the seasonal influx of religious pilgrims. Eventually, these notes became used by locals as well. Seldom offered in any grade, this rare Specimen is share the finest grade of only eight examples registered in the PMG Population Report, reflecting the scarcity of this piece.
