Valentinian I (AD 364-375). AV solidus (3.63 gm). Antioch, AD 364-367. Rosette-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valentinian right / Emperor standing facing, head right, holding labarum and Victory on globe; staurogram to left; ANTA in exergue. RIC IX 2b.ix v. Depeyrot 19/1. A rare variety. Clipped and removed from mount, with typical surface marks. Very Fine.
