Justinian I the Great (AD 527-565). Lot of three (3) AR commemorative issues. All of Constantinople, struck circa AD 350. Includes: (1) AR 1/3 siliqua (13mm, 0.7 gm). Helmeted and draped bust of Constantinopolis right / Large K within beaded border. Bendall Type 8. J.P.C. Kent, "Urbs Roma and Constantinopolis Medallions at the mint of Rome," Essays Sutherland, p. 112, pl. 13, 28. (2-3) AR 1/2 siliqae (both 13mm, 0.01 and 0.91 gm). Helmeted and draped bust of Constantinopolis right  / T X monogram. Seemingly unrecorded and exceedingly rare! All coins rather weakly struck, but in point of wear Extremely Fine or better.
