Charles I pattern Half Groat in silver ND (1631-32), or Twopence, S-2856A, North-2687, Briot's first milled issue, variety with "B" below the interlocked "C"s on reverse, AU50 NGC, a lovely and very sharp piece showing very little wear, choice surfaces, and rich gray toning. Made in quantity, this pattern is often seen and undoubtedly circulated, although this specimen is among the better pieces to be found.
