George III silver Medal 1795, by J.P. Droz, reverse engraved by C.H. Küchler, Eimer-864, BHM-390, 35 mm, plain edge, MS62 NGC, struck by the Soho Mint to honor Queen Charlotte on her birthday of May 19, 1795. Frogmore was a royal retreat adjoining Windsor Castle. Charlotte was a German princess, and an Electress of Hanover, born in 1744, who married George III in 1761. She lived until 1818. This is a very handsome piece, clearly struck in Proof state, and seemingly choice with light hairlines on the reflective fields.

Estimate: 400-600 USD
