Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.71 g, 4h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck circa 20-19 BC. Laureate head right / Rectangular altar inscribed FORT • RED/ CAES • AVG/ S • P • Q • R in three lines. RIC I 54a; RSC 104. Attractively toned, some minor scratches under tone, reverse struck off center. Near VF.
