Plotina. Augusta, AD 105-123. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.75 g, 8h). Rome mint. Struck under Trajan, AD 112-summer 114. PLOTINA AVG IMP TRAIANI, draped bust right, wearing hair bunched high in front and held in position by a double stephane, hair elaborately waved at back and falls down in a queue / CAES ΛVG GERMA DAC COS VI P P, Vesta seated left on chair without back, holding palladium and scepter. RIC II 730 (Trajan); Woytek 705-13 (same rev. die as illustration); RSC 3. Toned, rough surfaces, shallow scratch on obverse. VF. The Reka Devnia Hoard contained only four denarii of Plotina, all of this type, compared to 5205 of her husband Trajan.
