Laureate head right / Hadrian standing left, holding volumen, about to raise Africa who is kneeling right, holding grain ears and wearing elephant skin headdress; between them, two upright stalks of grain. RIC II.3 1569; RSC 1223. Toned, minor deposits on obverse. Near VF.
