Constantine IX Monomachus. 1042-1055. AV Histamenon Nomisma (28mm, 4.35 g, 5h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1042-1055. Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / Crowned facing bust, wearing loros, holding cruciform scepter with tendril ornament and globus surmounted by patriarchal cross. DOC 1a; Füeg II 1.A.2; SB 1828. Lightly toned with underlying luster, a few faint scratches, minor flan flaw on obverse. Good VF.
