Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. AV Hyperpyron (29.5mm, 4.17 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1143-1152(?). Facing bust of beardless Christ Pantokrator; nimbus with five pellets in each double-lined arm / Manuel standing facing, holding labarum and and globus surmounted by patriarchal cross; manus Dei above; five jewels on collar, six pellets in loros end. DOC 1b.3; SB 1956; CLBC 4.1.1. Flan wavy and a little crimped, graffiti, slight double strike on reverse. Good VF.
