Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. EL Aspron Trachy (33.5mm, 3.92 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1143-1152(?). Facing bust of beardless Christ Pantokrator; nimbus with one pellet in each double-lined arm / The Theotokos standing facing, crowning Manuel to left, holding labarum-tipped scepter and anexikakia. DOC 2b; SB 1957; LCBC 4.2.1. Light scratches, slight doubling on reverse. Good VF.
