CELTIC, Atrebates & Regni(?). Uninscribed. Circa 80-50 BC. AV Quarter Stater (13mm, 1.51 g). "Boat" with two masts or stylized standing figures / Crude split line. Apparently unpublished, but for obv. see D&T 249; ABC 530. For rev: D&T 247-8; Sills 440-1. Good Fine.

This unusual gold quarter stater features an obverse similar to ABC 530, the earliest quarter stater type to be struck in Britain, but with a crude reverse type more closely resembling Gallo-Belgic issues (cf. Sills 440-1).
