CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 344-340 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.80 g, 6h). Warrior, nude but for crested helmet, holding shield, on horse galloping left; |- below / Phalanthos, nude, holding kantharos, riding dolphin left; below, I above waves. Fischer-Bossert Group 47, 656 (V252/R508); Vlasto 437 (same obv. die); HN Italy 870; SNG Lloyd 169 = Bement 77 (same dies). Lightly toned, some scratches, a couple flan flaws. VF.
