ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.73 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Polemon, Alketes, and Timo–, magistrates. Struck 125/4 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates' names in fields; to right, forepart of lion right; H on amphora, ΣΦ below; all within wreath. Thompson 469g (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Toned, graffiti in fields and minor die break on obverse, tiny nick in field on reverse. VF.
