CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 302-290 BC. AR Nomos (21.5mm, 7.88 g, 3h). Warrior, holding shield and two spears, preparing to cast a third, on horseback right; ΔAI below / Phalanthos, holding trident over shoulder and shield decorated with hippocamp, riding dolphin left; ΦI to left, murex shell below. Fischer-Bossert Group 77, 1035 (V394/R799); Vlasto 594–6; HN Italy 935. Light scratches, a little die rust on obverse. Good VF.
