MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. Fourrée Hekte – Sixth Stater (10.5mm, 2.23 g). Nude male kneeling left, holding a tunny by the tail / Quadripartite incuse square. For prototype: cf. Von Fritze I 112; cf. Boston MFA 1488 = Warren 1503; cf. SNG BN –. Some die rust on obverse, scuffs on reverse, some marks and light scratches on edge, tiny breaks in plating, exposing core. VF. Well struck.
