Baal of Tarsos seated left, his torso facing, holding lotus-tipped scepter; ax to left, B'L[TRZ] (in Aramaic) to right, M (in Aramaic) below throne / Lion walking left on ground; MZDY (in Aramaic) above. Casabonne Series 5, Group B; cf. SNG France 430/431 (for obv./rev. type); SNG Levante 188 var. (symbol). Cleaning scratches. Good VF. Rare variety.
