SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos XII Dionysos. 87/6-83/2 BC. Æ (14mm, 1.80 g, 12h). Damaskos mint. Struck circa 83/2 BC. Diademed and draped bust right, clean-shaven / BΛCIΛEΩC ΛNTIOXOV ΔIONVCOV to right, EΠIΦΛNOVC ΦIΛOΠΛTOPOC KΛΛΛINIKOV to left, Tyche standing left, holding cornucopia and palm frond; monogram in exergue. Unpubished, but cf. SC 2481–3 and HGC 9, 1334–6 for bronzes with Dionysos epithet and the same monogram, but with bearded portrait and different reverse types. Earthen green-brown patina. VF. Unique.
