BRUTTIUM, The Brettii. Circa 211-208 BC. Æ Double – Didrachm (27.5mm, 12.78 g, 2h). Head of Ares left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with griffin / Athena advancing right, holding shield with both hands, spear leans against her; boukranion to right. Scheu, Bronze 41; HN Italy 1987. Dark green-brown patina, smoothed. Good VF.
