SICILY, Morgantina. The Sikeliotes. Circa 214-213 BC. AR 8 Litrai (22mm, 6.07 g, 10h). Wreathed head of Persephone left, wearing veil; leaf to right / Nike, holding kentron and reins, driving fast quadriga right; monogram above. Erim & Jaunzems Group II; Campana 12; BAR Issue 3; HGC 2, 910. Toned, much find patina, flan crack, cleaning and smoothing marks, some pitting. Good VF.
