The Triumvirs. Octavian. Autumn 30-summer 29 BC. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.54 g, 6h). Uncertain mint in Italy (Rome?). Helmeted head of youthful Mars right, wearing slight beard / Circular shield, inscribed CAESAR around upper part of rim, the boss ornamented with star, lying on top of sword and spear in saltire. CRI 428; RIC I 274; RSC 44. Toned, minor scratches, small flan flaw on obverse. Good Fine.
