A military bust of the finest style with spear and shield decorated with a rosette. The rosette is a very rare and sought-after type of shield decoration in the Probus coinage. Beautiful example with almost full silvering

Obverse: VIRTVS PROBI AVG

Radiate, helmeted and cuirassed bust left, holding spear and shield (decorated with floret).

Reverse: IOVI CONSERVAT / VXXT

Emperor standing left, receiving globe from Jupiter, standing right.

Bilon, diameter 22 mm, weight 3,58 g.

Popiersie militarne w najlepszym stylu z włócznią i tarczą ozdobiona rozetą. Rozeta jest bardzo rzadkim i poszukiwanym typem dekoracji tarczy w mennictwie Probusa. Piękny egzemplarz z prawie pełnym srebrzeniem.
