TROAS. Antandros. 4th-3rd century BC. (Bronze, 8 mm, 0.73 g, 6 h). Head of female (Artemis Astyrene?) to right. Rev. ANTAN Head of lion to right, slightly facing. SNG Ashmolean 1045 corr. (the obverse is described as Apollo, but the head is identical to that on our coin, and is clearly female; grape bunch below lion's head). Dark patina with earthen deposits. Rare. Very fine.
