SELEUKID KINGS. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, plated, 25.5 mm, 14.51 g, 9 h), contemporary imitation, copying Babylon, circa 311-300. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑAΕΞΑИΔΡ[ΟΥ] Zeus seated left on high-backed throne, holding eagle in right hand and scepter in left; to left, wreath (or club? in wreath) above M; below throne, MI. Cf. HGC 9, 10f. Cf. SC 82. Plating slightly cracked on the obverse, core exposed in spots, otherwise, about extremely fine.
