Sofaer 274-313. Traces of double striking, otherwise, good very fine.
From an American collection.
An example of an artistic double strike in the Hasmonean era. It appears whoever was tasked with striking this coin took the liberty to make a work of art by making the cornucopiae look like a mask with a pair of eyes (visible by turning the obverse 45 degrees). This form of artistry has been observed on other coins struck in the Near East during this time period.
