DIVVS ANTONINVS Bare-headed bust of the deified Antoninus Pius to right, slight drapery on shoulders. Rev. CONSECRATIO Funeral pyre of four tiers, decorated with garlands and surmounted by facing quadriga. BMC 61 (Marcus Aurelius). Cohen 164 var. (no drapery). RIC 438 (Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus). A lovely, sharply struck example. Hairlines in the reverse exergue, otherwise, extremely fine.
