Tetricus II, Romano-Gallic Emperor, 273-274. Antoninianus (Billon, 22 mm, 2.65 g, 11 h), a contemporary imitation, uncertain mint in Gaul or Germania. IMP TETRICVS P P AV Radiate and draped bust right. Rev. PAX AVG (retrograde) Pax standing left, holding branch and cornucopia. Cf. RIC 100 for prototype. Nicely centered on a broad flan. Clean surfaces and with attractive brown patina. Good very fine.
