(g) India, East India Company, William IV (1830-1837), Gold Mohur, 1835, Calcutta, Original Striking, bare head right, F on truncation, rev. lion striding left past palm tree, edge milled, 12.28g, 12h (Pridmore 9; S&W 1.9; KM 451.2), soldered at 12 o'clock in rose-gold coloured mount, the surfaces resulting polished and lightly sweated, the devices nevertheless very fine, highly prized even in this lamentable numismatic state.
