NEW ENGLAND • AN DOM •, inner pelleted circle, 1652 | XII in two lines in centre, 4.10g [63.8grns], 12h (Crosby 1a-d; Noe 6 [Plate 2, Die Phase 6]; Durst 16; W/B 480; Breen 19), small flan split at reverse 7 o'clock, lightly crimped and dented and largely soft in parts, the usual die flaw quite progressed on reverse, fair / good fine, very rare.
