Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Seventh Issue, Halfcrown, 1601, crowned bust left, holding sceptre and orb, rev. square-topped shield over cross double fourchée, m.m. 1, 9h, 14.92g, 9h, m.m. 1 (North 2013; Spink 2583), with a handful of contact marks and scratches in fields as usually encountered for type, die flaw to reverse at 12 o'clock, otherwise toned and pleasingly uniform, a really good fine / almost very fine, scarce.
